David Stern scouts Barack Obama’s game, sociocultural basketball impact

It’s standard practice for Barack Obama’s on-court opponents to offer up positive reviews of his game, but NBA commissioner David Stern had no intention of bowing to presidential clout in his personal scouting report:
The die is cast, Mr. President. If you start dropping in the polls (or worse: lose invaluable pickup hoops credentials) in major basketball centers, you know who to blame.
