As expected, Thunder All-Star guard Russell Westbrook wore the new Air Jordan XX8 during Tuesday night’s game against the Nets in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. It was a busy style day for the Thunder, who also wore their deep blue alternate jersey.

The Jordan XX8 made headlines for its unique “stealth” design that includes an all-black sleeve that covers the entire shoe, save the blue sole, and extends up to the mid-ankle. The sleeve opens and closes with a zipper that, when pulled down, reveals a neon green shoe with neon green laces, neon green lace holes and a black Jumpman logo on the tongue. Westbrook folded over the black sleeve rather than wear it fully extended.

According to Jordan Brand, the XX8 is the “lightest, most responsive Air Jordan of all time” and boasts “stealth” inspiration. “By the time you see us coming, it’s too late,” the company said.

Westbrook, who signed with Jordan Brand in October, was on hand for the shoe’s New York City unveiling on Monday. Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony, filmmaker Spike Lee, shoe designer Tinker Hatfield and Jordan Brand president Larry Miller were also in attendance.

The Air Jordan XX8 will retail for $250. Additional shots of Westbrook in his new shoes can be seen below.

They don't look bad w/the sleeve folded down.  I can imagine they'll eventually be part of Nike's shoe configurator which will let individuals choose different colors for different aspects of the shoe....for a price.
