2013 NBA All-Star uniforms unveiled
By Ben Eagle
We won’t know who will be playing in the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston until Thursday night, but we now know what they’ll be wearing.
Inspired by Houston’s “rich aeronautical history and the speed of the jet planes that dot its skies,” the jerseys, released by Adidas Wednesday morning, feature shooting stars on the side and a camo-like pattern throughout the torso. Gone is the contrasting fade that marked last year’s jerseys.
Adidas also notes that the yet-to-be-released “aviator-style” All-Star warmups will feature individual career accomplishments, including All-Star Game appearances, All-Star Game MVP awards, NBA titles and regular-season awards. This sounds like it’ll be a great touch, though I wonder if there will be enough room for all of Kobe’s accolades.
Miss the contrast of last year’s uniforms? Pinning for the two-tone look of 2008? Let us know in the comment section below.

They really seem to out do themselves each and every year. They look fantastic.

That two-tone look from 2008 has got to g-o!. The absolute worst eva! Especially the ones with gold...Yech!!!
The two color unis from 2008 were by far the worst unis ever designed. It was impossible to tell the teams apart!!!! I had to stop watching the game after 10 minutes.
Better tham last year. But those 2 tones ones look pretty nice.
Personally I love those jerseys. I may even consider to get one of those as both an NBA fan and space fan.
And I thought it was a jinx to put John Stockton's number on the West's jersey unless he is coming out of retirement to lead the West..... :)
It's a conspiracy to jinx the East team by putting '13' on the jersey.
(And yes, I'm making a joke).
