Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant hit an insane circus shot during a Friday night game against the Nuggets in Denver’s Pepsi Center.

With a little more than four minutes remaining in the first quarter and the Thunder leading 19-12, Durant drove hard to his left from the left angle, turning the corner of Wilson Chandler and elevating once he approached the restricted area. JaVale McGee came over to offer help from the weakside, causing Durant to double-clutch and duck under the basket to avoid the shot block attempt. Hanging in mid-air, Durant then contorted his right arm back to the basket side so that he could flick up a reverse shot high off the backboard.  He put exactly enough spin on the ball to kiss it in perfectly.

Durant, 24, entered the game as the NBA’s leading scorer at 28.6 points per game.

I remember Dr. J making a similar shot, only 10X greater.

The lead story on espn was "Could LeBron do this?" They decided he could and that all conversation of Durant should stop. They also determined that Michael Jordan could still do this as well and mandated that everybody devote an hour to talking about how great Michael Jordan was/is
