Pacers forward Paul George threw down a poster dunk over Heat center Chris “The Birdman” Andersen during the third quarter of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night.

With the clock ticking off the final seconds of the third quarter and the Pacers leading 73-71, George drove left past LeBron James into the lane and lifted off from outside the protected circle, throwing down a powerful right-handed slam that nearly sent Andersen crashing to the court.

“I just wanted to be aggressive off the bounce,” George said. “I seen an opportunity to attack while Birdman wasn’t set yet.”

The third-year forward finished with 22 points (on nine-for-16 shooting), six assists and two rebounds as Indiana defeated Miami 97-93 to even the series at one game apiece.

Wasn’t that a close and tense game, with a lot of excitement at the end? With that last 15 seconds when Paul George scored, I thought I would lose my voice from screaming so loudly.I know with so many games on lately, I can’t see them all, but I like that my DISH Game Finder app on my Hopper DVR gives me reminders of games and where to watch them.I usually end up in a conversation with someone at my job at DISH, so I like to be up to date with what’s going on in the NBA.Even when I’m watching something else I get the scores right on my screen while they change.
