Celebs, athletes react to Tony Parker’s game-sealing basket in Game 1 of Finals

With 5.2 seconds remaining in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Tony Parker slipped to the court, pulled himself up and banked in a jumper that sealed a 92-88 victory for the Spurs.

Parker finished with 21 points and six assists to help San Antonio overcome a triple-double from James, who tallied 18 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists.

Clutch? Sure.  Game winning?  Not exactly.  3 pointer from 28 ft with 2 guys in his face?  Not hardly.

It was a good, clutch shot, but I'm underwhelmed given the headlines.

@mckimsey here is why it was game winning in an abstract sense, he misses and Heat secure the rebound, now the Spurs have to worry about Lebron driving and tying the game, or kicking it out to Allen or maybe even Miller. If the Heat go into overtime, maybe Lebron catches his breath and takes over. Ya a lot of what if's but none of those happened because Parker made that shot.
