MIAMI — Platinum-selling rapper Drake — real name Aubrey Drake Graham — was denied access to the Heat’s locker room after the team’s 95-88 victory over the Spurs in Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.

Drake, 26, was turned away by security as he attempted to enter the locker room along with media members after the on-court trophy presentation.

“Drake was stopped by security [as] he tried to getting in the locker room without [a] media pass,” Hoopsworld.com reported.

A Sun-Sentinel writer also reported that Drake was turned away: “I got in the locker room [and] Drake was denied access.”

Drake attempted to talk his way into the champagne-soaked party.

“I am media,” Drake said, as Hoopsworld.com reported.

Drake sat courtside for Game 7 and was shown on the arena’s JumboTron during the game as his song Started From the Bottom played over the arena’s sound system.

Heat star LeBron James discussed his friendship with Drake in 2011.

“What we have is real family,” James said, according to Yahoo! Sports. “It’s not just because we are successful at what we do. We really care about one another on a day-to-day basis. Anytime you get a friend that can come and support you in what you do, I really respect that.”

Drake referred to James as his “brother” in the same article.

The Heat captured their third title and second in a row. James finished with a game-high 37 points, 12 rebounds and four assists and was named Finals MVP for the second straight year.

I thought all no-talent rappers could go anywhere they wanted. I mean, he had so much to do with championship.

Unless you were on the bench or on the hardwood floor - or a combination of the two - then you are a fan....and if one can gain access to the locker room, then make it one big party for anyone who wants to slam dance into the fun.
