Glen “Big Baby” Davis has now registered more embarrassing public incidents and apologies than points, rebounds, assists, steals and minutes played during the 2013-14 season.

The Magic forward took to Twitter to express his regret for throwing an Orlando Travelodge’s computer keyboard during a late-night meltdown over the weekend. TMZ Sports.com reports that Davis was upset because the hotel had no vacancies. Police were reportedly called to the scene but Davis won’t be charged for his outburst.

“In regards to the incident that occurred on Friday night, I want to sincerely apologize for my actions,” Davis wrote on his @iambigbaby11 Twitter account. “There is no excuse for what I did. I was obviously wrong and I take full responsibility. I apologize to the Magic, my fans and the city of Orlando.”

In hotel security camera footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ Sports, Davis can be seen putting his head down on the counter in frustration, reaching over the counter to grab a keyboard, throwing the keyboard, and stomping out of the lobby.

The 4 a.m. outburst occurred hours after the Celtics defeated the Magic 91-89 at the Amway Center. Boston traded Davis to Orlando in 2011.

Davis, 27, is on the books for $6.4 million this season and has career earnings in excess of $20 million. One night at an Orlando Travelodge starts at $59, according to the discount hotel chain’s website.

The six-year veteran appeared in just 34 games last season due to a broken bone in his foot. He is out indefinitely.

Guess he can't read after all and knew how to use the keyboard. But for $60 bucks you get a keyboard that WORKS

Maybe his girlfriend kicked him out of "the" house (though undoubtedly bought and paid for by him) after they got into a fight.

C'mon cut him some slack. He just wanted to kick back, watch some skinamax, wake up in his Friday night garb, brush his teeth with his finger, and get some good stuff at the WaffleHouse across the street.

How dare a player with worth millions stay at a cheap hotel!  We demand he only stay in top notch hotels with high priced hookers, and high price liquor flowing.. we need to make fun of these guys for wasting money.

My best guess, he was out partying which is why it was 4am, and he was too drunk to drive.  Probably lives outside of the city in a plush, suburban pad, and didn't want to pay the taxi what it would cost to get home.  He walks to the nearest hotel/motel, and we get what we had here last night.... which is they way he wants it, well, he gets it.

He's on the Orlando roster. So he must have a crib in Orlando. So he needs a $59 room at the Travelodge why?

$59 a night! I wouldn't stand for it!

What the hell is wrong with these guys? Why do so many athletes act like children?
