Video: Pacers’ Paul George throws down 360 windmill dunk vs. Clippers

2013-14 Dunk of the Year, Ben Golliver, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Paul George

Pacers forward Paul George threw down a 360-degree, windmill dunk during Indiana’s 106-92 home victory over the Clippers on Saturday.

With room to operate in the open court, the 2012 Slam Dunk Contest participant completed a full clockwise spin before throwing down an emphatic right-handed slam with a little windmill action. The garbage time dunk came with the Pacers leading 94-74 midway through the fourth quarter.

Add this one to the growing list of “Dunk of the Year” candidates, which includes Lakers guard Xavier Henry, Celtics forward Jeff Green, Nuggets forward J.J. Hickson, Magic guard Victor Oladipo, Pistons forward Josh Smith, Heat forward LeBron James twice (over Ben McLemore and over Paul Millsap) and Clippers forward Blake Griffin.

George finished with a game-high 36 points (on 12-for-17 shooting), six rebounds, two assists and three steals. Lance Stephenson added 22 points (on 8-for-17 shooting), 12 rebounds and seven assists for the Pacers.

Jamal Crawford led the Clippers with a team-high 22 points (on 7-for-18 shooting). DeAndre Jordan chipped in 12 points (on 5-for-9 shooting) and 17 rebounds in the loss.

The Pacers improved their league-best record to 32-7 with the victory. The Clippers fell to 28-14 with the loss.

Remember w the NBA used to have a foul called traveling?

I gotta say Henry and Griffin have the best two out of these (couldn't see Hickson's bc the vid has been pulled).

@MikeHarrison Nope, I don't remember that at all because traveling has never been considered a foul.  Remember when people used to know the difference between a foul and a violation?
